This one's for you Jake!

So, I'm finally getting that work done on the Tyranid commission. Had to go out and find the Minwax wood stuff. Home Depot has it. Lowes did not. I think that it came out well, spraycoat of white primer, mechrite red (foundation), and Iyanded darksun (foundation) were the only other colors used, except for a dot of black in the eyes. The base was just a mix of some greens and light browns as it is going to be mostly covered in grass and rocks anyways. Well, enjoy the pictures:

Dipping is a very handy technique. Tyranids are excellent models for dipping. I have been doing this for years and I am now trying to get back to regular paint. Dipping is just too easy!
